Relaxation can be a useful tool in your fight or flight mode. There are many things that cause stress such as work, kids, and even traffic. You can turn it into a positive activity and use it to your advantage. Just make sure you are constantly relaxing at the moment.
When you relax and think about a pleasant memory, that’s the right time to do it. But even if you are stressed out, there is still a way to deal with it. You can choose to ignore it and focus on something else, or you can do some “mind over matter” exercises.
Well, there are exercises that will show you how to relax in an effortless way. You can meditate, take up yoga, focus on positive thinking, etc. Whatever you choose, whatever works for you.
In most cases, you have to figure out how to calm down before you can actually beat the good old fight or flight response. So be aware of that. Although they say that fear is the mind-body reaction to a perceived threat, it is a difficult thing to get rid of.
